Introduction/specifics

We are a Protestant "House for Children" with two crèche groups with 13 children each, two kindergarten groups with 25 children each and a day-care center for up to 36 children of primary school age. Our facility is supported by the Evangelische Diakonieverein Oberferrieden - Postbauer-Heng e.V.

Opening hours: Our house for children is open from Monday to Friday from 07:00 a.m. Monday to Thursday we are there in the afternoon until 4:30 p.m. On Friday, the crèche, kindergarten and after-school care center close at 2 p.m.!

Three educators and three nannies work in the two crèche groups. There are four teachers and two nannies in the kindergarten. In addition, there are two teachers and one ped. for the pre-school children and for our forest project. Helper in the morning in the house. We hired three educators, one social worker and one trainee educator to look after school children (after-school care) in the afternoon and during the holidays. Once a week, the curative education service of our provider is in our house to provide parents and employees with help and advice. The KiTa management supports the groups in the house on an hourly basis. We are particularly proud of the fact that, in addition to the 18 female employees, there are also four male employees working for the children!

The kindergarten - with after-school care - was built in solid construction. All rooms, with the exception of the after-school care room, are on the ground floor. The latter is located in the main roof and is accessed via the stairs from the vestibule area. The new crèche was built in 2012 with two group rooms. The rotunda with an impressive tent roof connects seamlessly to the existing building and fits perfectly into the existing overall picture.
