Language and movement promotion as a focus

Introduction Our facility is a Protestant educational and care center.

We offer a place of security and individual development to 65 children from the age of two until they start school.

 security and individual development.

The basis of our pedagogical work is the Bavarian Education and

and educational plan, which is implemented in the educational focal points.

The well-being of the children and their needs are our focus.

By means of needs-based pedagogy, we promote the holistic development of all children

of all children entrusted to us.

  Our facility accompanies:

A toddler group at the age of two years to four years and

two kindergarten groups from the age of three until school enrollment.

Our group rooms are spacious and bright. They offer the children a variety of

play areas and space for retreat. Each group room has different levels

which are designed according to the needs of the children. Furthermore, each group has an

adjoining room for small group work or individual play. For movement activities

a large gymnasium, an auditorium and areas in the group rooms are available for movement activities.

A sensory room with a variety of materials is available for individual development.

     Outdoor facilities

Our outdoor area is laid out with generous lawns as well as many bushes and large trees.

trees, which offer the children a variety of opportunities to play and retreat, as well as shade in the summer.

and shade in the summer. We play in the garden almost every day.

There is a lot of playground equipment, e.g. climbing frame, slides,

water playground, tree house, seating, two bird's nest swings, and a large

large sand building site. The garden also includes a tree house, a herb spiral,

a sound and creative house, a crafts yard and a toy house.

For the toddler group, there is the possibility of a flexible fence to provide a protected

to play, romp and explore. The area can be flexibly

flexibly adapted to the needs of the children.

         Daily routine

The goal of our pedagogical work is to accompany and support each individual child.

Through daily rituals and routines, the children gain security and orientation.

We start at 7:00 a.m. with a catch-up group in the rainbow group. From 8.00 a.m.

the respective groups open their doors and at 9:00 a.m. all children start the day with the morning circle.

with the morning circle, followed by breakfast. Depending on the

group situation, breakfast can be shared or open. Afterwards there is free play or

small group activities take place. Every day (unless there is danger for the children due to the weather) we go to                the danger for the children) in the garden or in nature.

Lunch follows at 12:00. The children have the possibility to

to take part in the warm lunch or to eat their snack.

After lunch, the children are read to and have free play time. Children who need a

Children who need a rest or a break can withdraw and rest.

Each group has weekly gym days with specific movement activities. In addition

the gym can be used spontaneously, as needed.

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting at 1:30 p.m., project groups and workshops are offered.

workshops are offered. Children should develop a feeling for which activities strengthen them

and support them in their development. We encourage each child to become independent

and to develop into an independent personality. Children should decide for themselves

decide whether and in which activities they would like to participate.

We sensitize the children to healthy eating. We teach them basic nutritional

nutritional basics and hygiene measures. Within the framework of the school fruit program

we offer fresh fruit and vegetables daily. Once a week we offer a "milk day".

once a week. On this day, the children can choose between muesli or milk.

Furthermore, unsweetened beverages are available at our beverage station and in the group rooms.

               are available.

Since 2019, we have participated in the project: "I can cook!" - an initiative of the Sara Wiener

Foundation. The project promotes practical nutrition education for the children.
