Specifics
In our facility, we work according to "Wortstark in Burgdorf", a concept for stimulating language development integrated into everyday life. Our two group rooms are divided into play and learning areas according to the concept. The "Blue" group offers, in addition to the daycare library, an area for building and constructing ("Building Carpet") and an area for role play ("Play Apartment"). The "Red" group offers various opportunities for creative expression (painting wall, craft tables), an area for independently conducted experiments, and a raised area for resting and sleeping. In the hallway, there is an area for the children to dress up.
We work on a partially open basis. This means that our children can decide for themselves which room/area they want to be in. During the settling-in period, the children are supported by the reference teachers in getting to know the facility, our play and learning areas and the other staff members, so that they can then move around safely and freely.
