• 100 children with about 10 different nationalities, aged 3 - 6 years, are distributed in a total of 4 groups.
• The groups are equipped with either a raised level or 3 additional play levels and stairs.

Daily Schedule

• Bring time until 8:30 a.m.

Basics

• In our house children and adults of different origin, gender, social status, culture and religion meet.

• In daily free play, we pick up on the children's interests and needs through observation and are able to respond to them. The joy of learning is always in the foreground.
• Through the partially open concept, the children experience an extended offer of the different educational areas in the individual groups. Each child keeps his or her home group and has the right to visit other groups.
• We see ourselves as role models for tolerance and diversity, respecting our environment and fellow human beings by living democracy. For children, it means that they have the right to participate and freely express their wishes, needs and opinions. To this end, we use weekly children's conferences in which children experience participation structures and democratic processes.
• All professionals are or will be trained according to the "Wortstark" concept. Wortstark focuses on language education integrated into everyday life. This means that we create opportunities for children to actively test and expand their language skills in their daily educational routine. Language-stimulating play materials, picture cards or books, but also singing and movement games contribute to the expansion of vocabulary.
• In multilingualism, the appreciation of the linguistic origin is very important to us. It is an expression of feelings, cultural experience and one's own personality.
• It is our task to support the children's development into self-confident, independent and self-reliant personalities and it is our goal that every child enters life with a joy of learning and self-confidence.

Teamwork with school

In the year before school enrollment, the "Schlauberger" group decides in joint children's conferences on possible projects, excursions and activities in the last year of kindergarten. In order to facilitate a smooth transition from the daycare center to the elementary school, we are networked with the neighboring elementary schools. Cooperation calendars are used to arrange visits of the "Schlauberger" to their schools. Occasionally, the new teachers also visit the preschool children in the daycare center. Supplementary cooperation meetings between school and daycare center promote exchange, joint planning and organization.

Teamwork with parents

• A cooperative partnership between parents and daycare center is indispensable for good support and child development. Parents are experts for their own child. Our task is to connect the two worlds of KITA + FAMILY.
• Every six months, pedagogical, professional feedback on the developmental status is given in a parent interview.
