Introduction/specifics
The "Schneckenhäuschen" (snail house) is a place of security, the joy of discovery and participation. Since we started in October 2023, in the Schneckenhäuschen we have been experiencing how children learn from nature and develop with it and through our support. Together we experience up close every day the very special charm that comes from each season. We are outside in all weathers and have a lot of fun jumping through rain puddles, enjoying the sunshine or building a snowman. Through our connection with Montessori education, the children experience valuable experiences that will also help them after kindergarten. In addition to the learning experiences in nature, the children are also specifically supported on a mathematical and linguistic level. The environment in the carriages and outside is designed in such a way that the children can become active and live out their own lives using the various materials. By doing things on their own, children develop confidence in themselves and can support other children with their abilities. We understand our role as companions for children on their developmental journey. That's why we actively strengthen the children's community and use rituals to offer them a framework in which they can grow. In addition, our kindergarten lives from our various natural places, the projects and the regular excursions like on a farm. Here the children find out where the food comes from and learn how to treat nature and animals with respect.
