The basis of the work in the “Knirpsenland” daycare center is the educational program of the state of Saxony-Anhalt \“Bildung-elementar\”.
The concept of the facility is based on the situational approach and covers all educational areas of the educational program such as body, movement, health, communication, language and world exploration. By participating in the model project for artistic and aesthetic education - “MäBi” for short - both the children's artistic and social skills are promoted. The daycare center is a language daycare center of the state of Saxony-Anhalt and pays special attention to the development of language integrated into everyday life.
A competent team and a language specialist work in the facility in accordance with the educational program for daycare facilities in Saxony-Anhalt “Bildung: elementar - Bildung von Anfang an”.
Preschool children receive special support in their own preschool group. The children are accompanied intensively through the last year of kindergarten with special pre-school activities.
From the very beginning, there are numerous opportunities throughout the house to explore the environment with all the senses, to play, run around and explore. The rooms are age-appropriate and individually designed, inviting children to discover and explore: they encourage independence, but also offer opportunities for rest. These activities are continued in the spacious, naturally designed outdoor area. Here, children and parents experience the beauty of nature, but also learn how much effort is needed to preserve this habitat. We awaken the children's zest for life and strengthen their self-confidence - in an environment and an atmosphere that develops and promotes curiosity, creativity, spontaneity and social behavior. We help the children to grow up self-confident, healthy and happy. In doing so, we take into account the individuality of each child as well as the living conditions of the children and their families. Healthy fruit meals are just as much a part of our daily offer as the opportunity to buy a child-friendly hot lunch.
