The AWO Kreisverband Bitterfeld e.V. was founded on 10.04.1991. In 1996, the Workers' Welfare Association was recognized as an independent youth welfare organization. As a provider of various child and youth welfare facilities, we have continued to develop.
On 01.01.2004, AWO Soziale Dienste Bitterfeld/Wolfen gGmbH was founded, which took over the economic activities from the district association.
About us:
The “Campus Kids” daycare center has been run by Arbeiterwohlfahrt since 2022 and was converted into a daycare center in 2021. It is located between the campus of the city of Bitterfeld-Wolfen and the municipal cultural center. Nearby are the Jahnstadion, the film museum, the library and the “Goitzsche Flieger” independent school.
The children have access to 2 areas in the facility, each with two group rooms, three washrooms and three checkrooms. They can also use an exercise room, the play corners, the creative room, the theater corner and a research corner.
