There are 4 pure after-school care centers in the city, which are run directly at the elementary school sites. Due to the size of the facilities alone (all of them can care for well over 100 children), a wide range of services is possible in each case. Of course, homework supervision is provided in all after-school care centers. The 2 elementary school in the districts of Bitterfeld and Wolfen are in very good structural condition and therefore offer optimal spatial conditions for the after-school care centers.
