Introduction

A municipal daycare center is a place of interaction where you will meet skilled professionals who are happy to support you regarding your child's development and any questions you may have. Your child's education is at the heart of daily life. Through engaging projects and targeted activities, your child can fully realize their developmental potential. Observing and documenting your child's development forms the basis for further support and for discussions with you. Daily Schedule

In municipal daycare centers, every child has "their" group and "their" educators. From this base, they explore the premises and get to know the daily routine, other children, and the staff. Rituals and procedures that take place at the same time each day provide structure to the daily routine and offer the children a sense of security and orientation.

Food

Breakfast is generally brought from home and eaten during the course of the morning. The midday meals are varied and designed to suit children's needs. The individual components of the lunch are sourced frozen from a company specializing in children's nutritional requirements. Salads are freshly prepared, as are—often—desserts and raw vegetable snacks. In the afternoon, the children are offered a light snack.

Unsere Arbeit richtet sich nach dem gemeinsamen Leitbild und der gemeinsamen Konzeption für die städtischen Kindertageseinrichtungen. Quality Assurance

In 2003, standards based on the "Integrated Quality and Personnel Development" (IQUE) quality management concept were introduced in collaboration with all municipal daycare centers; these standards are continuously refined and expanded. A mandatory framework comprising 13 educational areas was developed to serve as a guide for all municipal daycare centers.
