Basics
Pedagogical understanding
Our educational work is based on respectful and needs-orientated interaction. We are guided by the situational approach and incorporate the children's interests, questions and everyday experiences into our educational work. We support the children individually in their development and create a protected environment in which they can try things out, have a say and experience community. With us, the children develop independence, confidence in their own abilities and enjoy learning together.
Learning across all ages
In our mixed-age group, the children learn from and with each other. Younger children take their lead from the older ones, while older children take on responsibility and strengthen their social skills. The family atmosphere encourages respectful and supportive interaction.
Nature and environmental education
Nature and environmental education is a particular focus of our work. The children regularly experience the forest and our natural outdoor area as a learning and experience space. Movement, free play and direct experience of nature are integral parts of our everyday life. The children discover the seasons with all their senses, observe plants and animals and experience nature in a variety of ways.
A special highlight is the overnight farm stay, where the children experience a farm up close.
