Introduction/specifics

As a single-group kindergarten, the family atmosphere is our priority. Through our relationship-oriented pedagogy, we want to give the children a feeling of security and show them the love of God. Like a treasure island, our children are true treasures, valuable to God and we want to experience many adventures with them.

Rooms

The rectory is currently being converted into a modern kindergarten, equipped with new furniture and toys.

Outdoor Facilities

The kindergarten is located in a quiet residential area, surrounded by single-family homes. A spacious outdoor area offers a play tower, a slide and a sandpit. Two large playgrounds are nearby and easily accessible on foot.

Daily Schedule

• 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Drop off time/breakfast
• 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Educational program

Food

We start with a light breakfast until 9:30 a.m., where each child can bring a snack. We also offer a child-friendly fruit and vegetable plate. To drink there is tea, milk and water. We also start at lunchtime at 12:00 p.m. and for a snack at 3:00 p.m. with the sandwiches we brought with us. Over the course of the year we plan to offer hot lunches either through a delivery service or by cooking yourself.

Basics

Kindergarten complements parents' education by teaching children social, cognitive and emotional skills. The parents' responsibility is to actively support their child's development and maintain a partnership with the kindergarten. It is important that both parties communicate on equal terms and that parents are recognized as experts on their children.

Teamwork with parents

The kindergarten has the task of supporting parents in raising their child. In order to be able to fulfill this task, a trusting and intensive cooperation between parents and educators is necessary. During the conversation, the child's development processes and methods of upbringing can be discussed, questions can be clarified and a common basis can be created. This gives the child security and a consistent orientation.

Specifics

A specialist has completed long-term training as a parent supporter (Parent Opportunities 2). By offering discussions, we want to support parents in supporting their children in the best possible way and strengthening and motivating them in their role as parents. We see ourselves as having a complementary role in kindergarten.
