Introduction/specifics

Hello dear parents and guardians,

My name is Melissa Lubec and I work as a child day care person, independently in my house. 

I have been working with children for almost 10 years, my first years in childcare I worked in kindergarten. On 01.07.2019 I decided to become self-employed.

Rooms

The child day care is divided into two floors. On the ground floor is the hallway with a children's wardrobe. There is space for jackets, shoes, mud clothes etc.

The main playroom, equipped with a small climbing frame (extra for toddlers), books, building blocks, railway wooden toys, children's kitchen with accessories, indoor bobby cars and much more.

In the kitchen, each child has a fixed seat at our large dining table. In addition, we have a learning tower here, if the children want they can help with the preparation of food (sorting fruit and vegetables, serving, learning the names of the ingredients, etc.).

In the bathroom we wash our hands, for this a stool is ready. 

One floor below is the bedroom, where there are 5 small beds with sleeping bags. A changing table in which I store diapers and wet wipes. There is also the change of clothes for the children.

In the basement there is also another games room. Equipped with children's tables for painting, a mattress for resting or reading (when a child no longer needs a nap). A ball pit and a few storage options for the toy.

Our outdoor area is currently still in progress. There will soon be a sandbox with toys. Bobbycars and much more.

The whole facility is equipped with the best security as required by law. This is checked 2 times a year by the Youth Welfare Office.

Daily Schedule

Drop-off time (from summer 2023): 7.00 am - 8.30 am 

Breakfast time: 7.00 am - 9.30 am

Morning circle: 9.30 am

Free Play/ Offers: 9.45 am - 12.00 pm 

Lunch: 12.00 - 13.00 (can always vary)

Afternoon nap / rest: 13.00 o'clock 

Afternoon snack: 14.30/15.00 (depending on how long the children sleep)

After the afternoon snack is the free play and the pick-up time.

3.30 p.m. Closing time.

On Fridays, the facility is only open until 1.30 pm (from summer 2023)

The procedure listed is a "base day". We go to the forest once a week, we visit the playground just around the corner, excursions by car are also made.

We also do projects together, for example when celebrations take place such as carnival, Christmas, birthdays. But it can also be color projects and much more.

Every day I cook fresh, here I take into account any intolerances. We cook 1x a week meat (no pork), 1x a week fish and on the other days vegetarian. Thanks to the Thermomix, the recipes are also very diverse.

Food

When eating, I attach great importance to cooking varied and healthy. Weekly we received our organic farmer order with fruit and vegetables. 

Breakfast in the morning, Morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack I prepare for the children. For this I collect montalich a meal package.
