"One child makes life colorful, many children make life colorful!"

This motto gave our daycare center its name: Kunterbunt!

Life with children has so many wonderful facets. Every child deserves to be accepted, encouraged and loved.

We offer the children and of course the parents a place to meet,

a place of security, individual support, simply a place where

everyone can feel at home!

Location of the daycare center

Lebenhan is a district of Bad Neustadt an der Saale in the Bavarian Rhön. The town (Bad Neustadt) is less than 10 minutes away by car. The daycare center is idyllically situated on the outskirts of Lebenhan, in a traffic-calmed area, directly opposite the Catholic church “Mariä Geburt”. Surrounding the building, our spacious garden invites children to enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities.

Our facility is bordered by woods and meadows that are perfect for walks. The village of Lebenhan is very rural and offers numerous opportunities to explore nature and the surrounding area with the children (farms with various animals, the riding club, etc.)

so that the children can give free rein to their creativity.

Daily Schedule

Crèche

7:00 - 7:30 a.m. The crèche children arrive in the regular group during this time

7:30 - 8:00 a.m. Arrival in the crèche group

8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Free breakfast

9:00 - approx. 10:30 free play time with accompanying individual, creative and

 seasonal activities

10:30 - 11:15 free play in the yard/garden; visit to the playground or walk

11:15 - 11:30 singing circle

11:30 - 12:00 lunch together

from 12:00 the sleeping children go to bed; the rest of the group is then looked after in the regular group

Regular group

7:00 - 7:30 a.m. Crèche children and regular children arrive in the regular group

7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Free play time

8:30 - 9:00 a.m. Breakfast together

9:00 - 9:15 a.m. Morning circle

9:15 - 10:30 a.m. Free play time; educational activities

10:30 - 11: 3 pm Free play time in the courtyard/garden; walks; visit to the playground

11:30 am - 12:00 pm Lunch together

12:00 pm - 12:30 pm "Dream journey" - quiet time; this is organized individually;

 the crèche children come to the regular group

12:30 pm - 3:30 pm Free play time; educational activities

Food

In the morning, the children need a snack for breakfast, which they bring from home.

At lunchtime, we offer hot meals from Monday to Thursday. This is provided by the Festhalle kitchen in Heustreu and can be ordered daily until 8:30 am.

On Fridays, each child brings something prepared for our gourmet buffet. We enjoy this together at lunchtime.

Once a month on Fridays there is a so-called carrot day. The children prepare a balanced breakfast buffet together with the teachers.

Basics

• We meet the child where they are and work with their strengths.

Teamwork with school

In cooperation with the school in Brendlorenzen, the pre-school children visit the school for one morning. This gives the children the opportunity to get to know the teacher, the school building and other pupils.

Our preschool children also take part in the elementary school's walking day.
