Introduction/specifics

Our KITA is located on a property in the immediate vicinity of the Christ Church, the community center and the rectory. The catchment area covers the whole of Bad Neustadt and the surrounding area. Public transport connections are in the immediate vicinity. Due to our central location, we have short distances to the library, the market, the Saale meadows and the primary school.

We look after children from the age of one until they start school and work in accordance with the Bavarian education and upbringing plan.

The scale of values, the “heart” of the daycare center, stands on three powerful pillars:

- The first pillar includes religious education.

- The second pillar focuses on language daycare (a nationwide project) where the emphasis is primarily on making it easier for children to learn the language.

- The third pillar includes “nutrition/fresh cuisine” where the wards are taught a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

Rooms

We offer a large entrance area, followed by a fresh kitchen and a bistro.

Our crèche consists of two large group rooms, each with an exercise/sleeping room and a shared sanitary area.

The kindergarten groups have a main group room and an adjoining room.

In the attic of the extension there is a multi-purpose room in which various activities such as language daycare, preschool, German preliminary course, parent discussions and early intervention take place. Right next to it is the large gym, which is equipped with attractive gymnastics equipment and materials.

Outdoor Facilities

The outdoor area in the regular area is divided into two areas. To get to the other area, children can access the lower part of the garden via a small staircase next to a stream. The children can drive various vehicles on a water-bound ceiling surrounded by concrete slabs. In the middle there is a wooden ship that invites you to role play. Next to a grassy hill there is a large sandpit that children can play in. There is also a climbing board on the terrace of the giraffe group. There is an opportunity to cool off at the watercourse in summer temperatures. All play equipment, slides and climbing boards, are equipped with fall protection. This way the children can safely discover their living environment and develop.

Food

One of the three pillars of our work is nutrition. This means that healthy, full meals and a well-thought-out eating situation are an important part of our KITA. As part of our daily routine, the children receive a full breakfast, a warm lunch and a small snack in the afternoon. We have a self-catering kitchen and can therefore provide meals for the children throughout the day through an on-site kitchen team.

Through our participation in the Kita Catering Coaching program run by the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry, we work with experts on good nutrition for children and are constantly improving our menus.
