Introduction/specifics

In order to be able to offer a better balance between family and career, the Falkensteinschule (elementary school) in Bad Herrenalb has flexible childcare options for students in the form of core time care and afternoon care. A healthy and wholesome lunch is an integral part of the afternoon care.

Core time care

Core time care is a supplement to the existing school hours and is offered from 7:00 - 8:30 and 11:50 - 13:30.

Flexible afternoon care with lunch

In addition to the core time, there is the offer of flexible afternoon care with shared lunch, which is offered from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. During this time, the children are supervised by caregivers and the focus is on playing, handicrafts and painting together.

Flexible afternoon care can only be booked in conjunction with core time care.

Individual days of the week can be booked. For example, only Monday and Tuesday can be booked. There is no care on the other days.

A new registration must be submitted for each school year. The deadline is always 31.03. of a year.

The core time care takes place in the premises of the Falkenstein Elementary School Bad Herrenalb.

Overview

Prerequisites for the acceptance of a place

You must have made your request in writing by March 31 of the previous school year.

Prior to admission to the facility, each child must provide proof of adequate immunization or immunity to measles and a certificate of medical examination.

Priority is given to families who meet the following criteria

• Belonging to the own community (town of Bad Herrenalb)
• Occupation of the legal guardian(s) - proof required
• Marital status - proof required
• Younger children are considered before older children in the allocation process
