Basics
The educational work of our day-care centre is based on the orientation plan for education and upbringing. To support the holistic development of children, they are accompanied and encouraged in the areas of body, senses, language, thinking, feelings and compassion, as well as values and religion. We aim to support children in their holistic development and to help them develop a confident and independent personality. A special focus is placed on the development of social skills. We want the children to feel comfortable in our centre, to enjoy learning and playing together, and to develop self-confidence, assurance and a sense of responsibility. The mixed-age group structure and the inclusion of children with special needs create a variety of opportunities for joint learning and social interaction. The basis of our educational work is the orientation plan for education and upbringing. To support the holistic development of children, they are accompanied and encouraged in the areas of body, senses, language, thinking, feelings and compassion, as well as values and religion.
One of the guiding principles of our facility is Maria Montessori’s ‘Help me to do it myself.’ We view each child as a unique and competent individual who brings their own interests, needs, abilities and experiences. Children are perceived and valued as individuals and their development is supported in accordance with their individual needs. The child and their needs and individual development path are always at the centre of our educational work.
A trusting and appreciative cooperation with parents is of great importance to us. We place great value on open, regular and collaborative communication from the moment a child enters the daycare centre. This forms the basis for a stable educational and care partnership, in which the shared responsibility for the child’s development and well-being is paramount. In addition, we welcome active and trusting cooperation, for example at parents’ evenings, in the care of the garden or in accompanying excursions.
