Introduction/specifics

The Schladminger Weg day nursery (Kita) is located in the Maubach district of Backnang and is surrounded by meadows, fields and a forest that can be reached on foot. The family-friendly social environment is well-equipped with the adjacent primary school, which offers care during core hours and after school. The building is designed in a natural style and the many windows and glass panels provide bright rooms.

The facility has two large group rooms with adjoining rooms, a group room for the crèche group, a kitchen, a dining area and a washroom. The outdoor area offers a variety of play and exercise opportunities. There is a municipal playground directly next door. In addition, we regularly use our meadowland in Maubach, which provides the children with a wide range of natural experiences.
 

Basics

The implementation of the educational mandate according to the orientation plan takes place in our daily interactions. Children learn through play, experimentation and their own experiences. We accompany each child individually, foster their strengths and interests and support them in becoming more independent. Respectful treatment, participation and consideration of the children’s needs are particularly important to us. As a nature park nursery, nature is an integral part of our daily educational activities. Through projects, activities, free play and a variety of experiences in nature, children discover their environment, expand their knowledge and develop their social, linguistic, motor and cognitive skills.
We see each child as a unique individual with individual abilities, interests and needs.

Each child brings their own strengths and develops at their own pace. Through participation, individual support and loving guidance, we strengthen children’s self-confidence and support them in developing into independent, responsible and socially competent individuals.

A trusting educational partnership with the parents is a matter of course for us. Parents and educational professionals contribute their different experiences and skills and regularly exchange information about the child’s development and well-being. Various joint offers throughout the year enable encounters and participation.
