Basics
The educational work of the kindergarten is based on the framework of the orientation plan. Education is a lifelong and self-directed process, consisting of many smaller processes. People learn from birth until old age. Education according to the orientation plan, however, is characterised by support and guidance, by stimulation and challenge of the educational processes. We also address the topics and interests, as well as the various areas of development of the children. In this way, we support children in their strengths and help them to cope with their weaker sides. We must also bear in mind that children learn for different reasons and with different motivations. Therefore, recognition and well-being are the basis for successful learning.
The child is at the centre of our work. In our facility, every child is seen and accepted as an individual with their own needs. We recognise children with their strengths and weaknesses, we take their actions seriously and show them our appreciation through our attention and the planning and organisation of our educational work. Children are involved in all areas of daily life. Even with the youngest children (under 3 years of age), we pay sensitive attention to their signals and gestures in order to take their wishes and decisions into account in everyday life.
For good cooperation, we see openness and trust as the basis. To build this trust, the time of familiarisation is important, during which parents can experience the daily routine of the kindergarten and can participate in their children’s kindergarten life from the very beginning. We also place great value on conversations at the door and at the gate when you bring your child to the facility or pick them up. We regularly invite you to development talks or parent-teacher meetings at the kindergarten and also ask you to arrange a meeting with us if you need to.
