Basics
The educational work of the kindergarten is based on the orientation plan. Education is a lifelong and self-directed process, consisting of many smaller processes. People learn from birth until old age. Education according to the orientation plan, however, is characterised as support and guidance, as stimulation and challenge to the educational processes. We also address the topics and interests, but also the different areas of development of the children. In this way, we support children in their strengths and help them to cope with their weaker sides. At the same time, we must bear in mind that children learn for different reasons and with different motivations. Therefore, recognition and well-being are the basis for successful learning.
In our work, the child is at the centre. In our facility, every child is recognised and accepted in their uniqueness and with their needs. We recognise children with their strengths and weaknesses, we take them seriously in their actions and show them our appreciation through our attention and the planning and design of our educational work. Children are involved in all areas of daily life. Even with the youngest children (under 3 years of age), we pay sensitive attention to their signals and gestures in order to take their wishes and decisions into account in everyday life.
We see openness and trust as the basis for good cooperation. To build this trust, the time of familiarisation is used, during which parents can experience the daily routine in the kindergarten and participate in their children’s kindergarten life from the very beginning. We also place great value on conversations at the door and at the gate when you bring your child to the facility or pick them up. We regularly invite you to development talks or topic-specific parent-teacher meetings at the kindergarten and also ask that you contact us to arrange a meeting if you need one.
