We are very pleased that you are interested in our facility.

The daily work with the children at the “Wuselkiste” is an exciting and ever-evolving process — a journey that we are happy to take together with your children.

We are a two-group facility located in the Harreshausen district, a rural part of Babenhausen.

We offer places for 48 children aged 2 to 6 years. Of these, three places are reserved for children aged two and above. We also provide integration places when needed.

Our approach to each child is based on trust in their individual abilities and strengths. We meet children where they are and support, encourage, and empower them. We help, play, and learn together, search for solutions, explore new paths, and foster the individuality of every child.

Our Center

Kita WuselKiste is a small, family-oriented daycare center with a barrier-free building located in the Harreshausen district.

 

We offer:

  • Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • Two booking options with 25 or 35 hours per week

  • Two mixed-age groups

  • 45 daycare places for children aged 3–6 years

  • 3 places for children under 3 (from age 2)

  • Integration places

  • An open group concept (open-door policy)

  • A child-friendly, structured daily routine with a wide range of play and movement opportunities

  • Regular parent-teacher conferences and parent evenings

  • Qualified educational staff with diverse professional backgrounds

The foundation of our work is the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan (Hessischer Bildungs- und Erziehungsplan). In addition, we follow the situational approach, the principles of psychomotricity, and the Marte Meo method.

Our goal is to support children on their journey to becoming independent, cooperative, and capable individuals. We create an atmosphere of well-being in which every child feels valued and accepted with their individual needs, interests, strengths, and weaknesses. A cooperative partnership with parents and other institutions is very important to us.
