Our Center

Kita FeuerKäfer is a warm and lively daycare center located in a natural setting. In our facility, we care for children from their first year of life until they start school.

Our educational work is based on an open-concept approach. Each room is designed as a learning environment with its own focus, offering children a wide range of opportunities to explore their interests, strengths, and natural curiosity. Here, younger children learn from older ones – and vice versa.

Our garden features numerous fruit trees, and together with the children we plant our raised beds with various vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Especially in summer and autumn, our harvest can be found on the breakfast buffet or as part of the afternoon snack. This reflects our concept of healthy and balanced nutrition, which supports the children’s healthy development.

We Offer:

• Care for a total of 60 children,
• including 10 nursery places and 50 kindergarten places
• Opening hours: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• An in-house bistro with a daily breakfast and lunch buffet
• Afternoon snack for children who are still present
• A spacious outdoor area in our large garden
• Regular development meetings
• Close cooperation with families

Our Educational Foundation:

The foundation of our educational work is the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan (BEP).

We support the children with care, warmth, and respect, always meeting them at eye level. A balanced combination of reliable structure and free exploration creates daily learning and development opportunities. Children choose their play areas and play partners independently and experience community, participation, and appreciation in everyday life.
