Our Facility
Kita KunterBunt is a daycare center located in the heart of the town of Babenhausen. In several groups, we care for children from their first year of life until they start school.
Our facility offers children many opportunities to play, learn, and explore. Different play and learning areas as well as cross-group activities create an inspiring environment in which children can follow their interests and gain new experiences.
Kita KunterBunt is also a Family Center. In addition to childcare, we offer a variety of services and support for families, creating opportunities for meeting, exchange, and guidance in everyday family life.

Our Educational Foundation:
The basis of our work is the Hessian Education and Care Plan.
Our educational approach is guided by child-oriented pedagogy, placing the interests, needs, and life experiences of the children at the center of our work. We follow the situational approach, taking up themes from the children’s everyday lives.
We also work with the project approach in the sense of co-construction, where children and educators actively shape learning processes together through projects.
Our facility follows a partially open concept, which provides children with orientation within their group while also allowing them to freely choose different play and learning areas.
Other important components of our educational work include integrated language development in everyday activities, forest education, and an inclusive approach that welcomes every child with their individual abilities and needs.
