Our Facility
Kita Hergershausen is a daycare center located in the Hergershausen district of the town of Babenhausen. In our facility, we care for children from their first year of life until they start school in several groups.
Our daycare offers children a wide range of opportunities to play, learn, and explore. A spacious outdoor area as well as nearby playgrounds and natural spaces provide many opportunities for movement and experiences in nature as part of everyday daycare life.
Music is also an integral part of our daily routine. During singing circles, movement songs, and shared dancing activities, children experience music in a playful way. These integrated musical activities promote enjoyment of music, movement, and shared experiences.
What we offer:
- Opening hours: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Care for children from the age of one until they start school
- Several mixed-age groups
- A child-friendly, structured daily routine with diverse opportunities for play and movement
- A spacious outdoor area with various play and activity options
- Regular parent meetings and parent evenings

Our Educational Foundation:
The basis of our work is the Hessian Education and Care Plan.
In addition, we are guided by the situational approach, child-oriented pedagogy, and the project approach in the sense of co-construction. Our facility works with a partially open concept that provides children with both orientation and opportunities to freely choose play and learning areas.
Other important components of our educational work include integrated language development in everyday activities, forest education, and an inclusive approach that places each child with their individual abilities and needs at the center.
