Basics
- In our day care center the needs of the children are in the foreground.
- Our daily routine is clearly structured and adapted to the needs of the children.
- It is important to us that the children feel comfortable and safe with us.
- We see the children entrusted to us as individual personalities and support them in all areas of their development.
- As a team, we support each other and are a reliable partner for children and parents.
- Our pedagogical work is based on the Baden-Württemberg Orientation Plan, our pedagogical concept, the guidelines for kindergartens and the pedagogical profile of the Johanniter.
- We work according to the Berlin familiarization model.
We work according to the situation-oriented approach. The focus is on the children's experiences and experiences. The approach is oriented to current events, in that the specialist perceives the situation of each child with his or her emotions with a positive basic attitude and reacts to it. At the same time, the educators create learning opportunities that flow meaningfully into the everyday life of the children. All seasons, parties and birthdays are arranged according to time and age with the children. Every child is understood and respected as an individual. We give the children time to learn skills such as dressing by themselves, setting the table, washing hands, etc. At the same time, they experience everyday community life and a family life. They experience and learn consideration, sharing, communication and the appropriate handling of conflict situations.
Bringing nature closer to the children is a matter of our hearts. So it is part of everyday life for the groups to move out in nature. We give children the opportunity to experience the fascination of nature and understand it through child-friendly explanations. In this sense, we offer regular and age-appropriate nature and forest days. The curiosity of the children is unique. They get to know life through all the senses. They explore and research at any time, anywhere. For example, it is important for the educator to offer the children time and space and to accompany and support them in their desire for research.
Especially at the age of three, safety and orientation are an important need. With reliable rules and a manageable daily routine, we want to offer children a familiar, easy-to-understand environment. If the kids are focused, we don't bother them. If they want to move, we'll give them space.
As a team, we are confident in our attitude and express ourselves clearly and comprehensibly. We deal with the needs of the children and exchange ideas in regular team meetings.
The transitions (family-crèche-kindergarten-school) are very important to us and are intensively accompanied and supported by us.
