Dear interested families,

Welcome to the S. Ulrika Children's Centre!

The transition from family to kindergarten changes and expands the living environment of children and parents. You and your child will face many unknown and new things.

St Michael's Kindergarten offers space for up to 124 children from Altshausen and Eichstegen in six groups. Our four kindergarten groups accept children from 2 years and 6 months of age, provided there are enough places available. We offer up to 24 additional places in two crèche groups for children aged between 11 months and 3 years. 

We are guided by Christian values. They give us roots and encourage us to develop further. For us, every person is unique in God's creation. We accept them as they are and challenge and encourage each other in our interactions with each other, and there are various school facilities in the immediate vicinity of our children's centre with which we cooperate.

Our educational work is based on the situational approach and the "Orientation Plan for Education and Upbringing" in Baden-Württemberg. The targeted planning of our educational work and the room design are based on this.

Basics

The children from the whole centre come together both during free play and during cross-group activities. By valuing free play, education integrated into everyday life can take place and skills can grow.

The pedagogy in our centre is based on the Christian view of humanity and openness towards the diversity of people.
