Introduction/specifics
Our Feuerkäfer children's house opens at 07:30 for the families of the Albbruck community. Already in our spacious entrance area you can see that our children's house is filled with life through eight groups. In total, the Kinderhaus offers space for 140 children between the ages of 1 and 6. These are cared for by a total of approx. 25 educational specialists and approx. 10 trainees and interns.
Our Kinderhaus is distinguished by the partially open concept. The children of the kindergarten are accommodated in four groups in the old building. Each child has its home group, this is where it arrives every morning to start the day calmly. From 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., the children stay in their home group with their primary teachers. After the morning circle, our house opens and the children can choose their play area and their play partner. Each group is designed and furnished according to its individual educational area, so that each child finds the appropriate area for its current development. In the crèche (new building), too, the children can move individually between four groups and freely choose their play area. In each group, the educational programme is supported and attractively designed by several professionals. In this way, the children are picked up and supported in their individual development. The partially open concept of the children's house offers the children security and the opportunity to develop freely. In addition, the spacious garden offers the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather and to balance the children's urge to move.
The first pick-up time begins at 12:00 and ends at 14:00. At 2:00 p.m., nap time begins for the midday children. During lunchtime, the children in the all-day group are looked after by two educational specialists. In the afternoon, the children can be picked up between 15:30 and 17:00.
Restrictions due to Corona:
Unfortunately, the current situation restricts our concept. We have had to close the partially open concept. This means that the children remain in their home groups during the day. These have now been equipped with additional educational areas. In this way, each child finds something in his or her group that suits his or her development and interests. We try as best as we can to make the day-to-day life in the Kinderhaus as "normal" as possible.
Have we aroused your interest in our facility? Do you have any further questions or would you like to meet us in person?
Then we look forward to hearing from you.
