How many requests per child are possible?
You can enter up to 3 preferred institutions and prioritise them by favourites. If you receive a cancellation, you can register again.

When can I register my child?
From birth for U3 care (Krippe). From 18 months for Ü3 childcare (kindergarten).

By when do I have to register my child?
By 15 March for the coming childcare year September.

When do parents receive the place offer?
You will receive feedback around the end of April. Places are allocated by the daycare centre providers/management. Provided that the daycare centre can offer you a place, you will receive a confirmation with an invitation (if necessary, a personal meeting beforehand).

From 15 March - 05 April 2024 is the allocation and confirmation period for daycare centers for the coming childcare year. During this time, childcare requests can not be submitted.
