The "Im Spichelsfeld" daycare center approaches every child and family with an open-minded attitude regarding worldviews and beliefs. Tolerance and acceptance characterize daily interactions. The educational team respects the unique life circumstances of each child and their family, as well as their cultural background and living environment. Staff members support and foster the individual development of every child. Education is viewed as a process of self-directed learning by the child. Consequently, the design of the premises, the quality of physical activity and nutrition, language development, and collaboration with parents are key pillars of the educational work.

As a designated "Language & Integration" and "Language Daycare" center, the "Im Spichelsfeld" facility provides intensive support for all children regarding their language development.

As a certified "Movement-Focused Kindergarten" (Bewegungskindergarten) that also holds the "Pluspunkt Ernährung" (Nutrition Plus) certification, the center places great importance on fostering motor skills and providing health and nutrition education. This includes a cooperation agreement and close collaboration with the sports club "VfL Sankt Augustin e.V. 1902."

A dedicated domestic services specialist is responsible for preparing healthy and balanced lunches.

The "Im Spichelsfeld" daycare center is a certified "House of Little Scientists" (Haus der kleinen Forscher), offering targeted opportunities for age-appropriate exploration and experimentation.
