Introduction/specifics

Our kindergarten group, consists of about 70% children with a migration background. Accordingly, many different cultures and languages are housed under one roof. This means that many different faiths come together in our facility, which are understood, discussed and lived according to the interests of the children.

The kindergarten group is staffed by a nursery nurse and two teachers, one of whom is qualified as a speech and language specialist. The care time in the kindergarten is possible until 13:00.

Our nursery consists of 50% children who attend a special school and have an increased need for support. These children are cared for by a teacher with the qualification of a specialist for inclusion and integration. The after-school care center offers a midday meal.

Rooms

Our facility is a listed villa which is divided over two floors.

The rooms for the kindergarten children are located on the first floor, including the group room and a library, the checkroom, the toilets in the basement and the kitchen of the facility.

The after-school care facilities are located on the first floor of our house, these are divided into 4 different themed rooms with the painting room, play and reading room, children's apartment and a homework room.

The after-school children use their own toilets on the same floor.

Outdoor Facilities

Our outdoor area is used by both groups of the facility. On the one hand, we have many different climbing possibilities such as a tree trunk Mikado or a climbing tower.

Depending on the seasons, we plant different types of fruit and vegetables in the 4 raised beds on our outdoor area in order to care for them, watch them grow and then use the harvested food for cooking together.
