Introduction/specifics
We are a nursery with two groups that work in a subject-oriented manner. The children can leave their group and expand their activities in the hallway, take part in activities across all groups or visit friends in the other group in the afternoon. We care and educate for children from 2 years up to school entry and encourage children to self-educate. We base ourselves on the orientation plan (“Orientierungsplan Baden Württemberg”) as well as the Rottenburg nursery plan. We work in a situation-oriented manner and we always pay attention to the positive well-being of the children as well as their parents.
The educational ethos in our nursery is based upon democratic-partnership. The children are free to express their opinions here. In addition, rights and obligations apply equally to everyone. We are open to needs and concerns, as well as to difficulties and problems of the children and parents. In our pedagogical work, we take up current situations and work them out together with the children. We support the children in their individual development. This supports the development of the children to be independent, responsible and self-confident with their own personalities.
Our Catholic institution defines our commitment to the Christian image of humanity, in that every person, regardless of culture and religion, is respected and appreciated as a unique, independent personality with his / her own inviolable dignity. Each child is seen in their individuality and at the same time strengthened in the skills needed for their life and their future.
